It's a Wonderful Life!

As a child, I once saw the movie "It's a wonderful life" with Jimmy Stewart and I was very impressed by it; during the following years I sometimes remembered the movie and wanted to see it again. But the German TV programme never showed it again (or I always missed it...)...

Then I read on the blog of The Sampler Girl that she watches this movie every year during the Christmas time, she even designed at least 2 patterns as a tribute to this movie.

One of her designs I completed yesterday:

The motive contains all that I love and like to stitch: a house, trees and a positive saying! ;o) And the movie is available on DVD! ;o)

Alles Liebe und Happy Stitching

This is surely a lovely little piece! And how nice that it was inspired by a movie you like.

Lately we have started a new tradition, watching "Little Women" every Christmas. I wonder if there is a pattern inspired by that movie. Would be so nice :)

Happy 2012!
